The Full Rose moon June - TopicsExpress

The Full Rose moon June 2013 Standing on the grass I look up, the deep apricot moon Pillowed in pink clouds smiles Wood smoke from the fires on the beach rises As laughter from a cottage The rush of the waves, the buzz of a motorcycle races faraway I hung the Japanese lanterns in evergreens Tonight before dark. I like rituals. The moon rose higher Fading to pale butter. The face is clear, the great laugh The eyes the nose, the great laugh What’s so funny? Me, looking up at the moon hanging blue lanterns In the Smokey night? Is that the fool? Does that amuse you? Do you remember Those black and white harlequin clowns of Parrish hanging lanterns with confusion? Maybe they hang the moon. Those beautiful foolish clowns. Roses and honeysuckle, wood smoke and fire works The moon is cream and high I open my moon gate to the path The mini moons float in the garden Is this what happy feels like? That great laughing face Shining down it teaches me. I’m learning; slowly rising. How to be.
