The Fullness of God Eph 3:14-20 We have been talking about the compassion, making a difference Vs 19-- what is the fullness of God. Pleroma - A complete content in its maximum requirement that is everything required in that content must be complete in its maximum load. That vessel is filled with the maximum load of all that should be there Amplified says wholly filled and flooded with God himself. Is it possible? Lets look at an example, Jesus. Col 1:19 -- in Jesus is the totality of Deity, the maximum load of God Col 2:9 -- dwells (reside) Everything the father is and has is in Jesus Everything the Holy Ghost is and has is in Jesus Everything Jesus is and has is in him. He is the expression of the totality of divinity, the express image of Gods person. No wonder, he said if you have seen me, you have seen the father. God desires us to be filled with His fullness, Is the ball in His court? Is it as he desires? Do I need to pray and fast to have his fullness!? No Eph 1:3 -- God doesnt want to bless you, he has blessed you. Same way God has given us his fullness Col 2:9 -- all the fullness of God is in Jesus. Eph 1:23 -- all the fullness of Jesus is in the Church Jhn 1:16 -- and of his fullness have we all received, grace upon grace. Wow! So God has given to his church his fullness. Oh yes. Its your responsibility to be filled with His fullness. Imagine been filled with the fullness of God. Filled -- diffused, permeated, craved in, influenced. You cant say things like am confused, short of ideas No! No! .. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in Christ, Christ in you Am broke No -- the earth is the Lord and its fullness thereof The question isnt anymore if God want to give us His fullness. It has been given to the Church. But how can I experience this. Its in one word comprehend Katalambano understand it, take a hold of it and makes it yours -- your present hour reality. Your experience of the fullness of a God is limited to your comprehension of the love of God. God is love, not that He has love, You cant experience all of him without experiencing all of his love. Rooted and grounded -- vs 17 (GW translation) Roots draw up nutrients, the deeper your roots in love, the higher your love is, the more youre filled with his fullness. Breadth--- width/ coverage of the fathers love, how wide is it? Who does it include? Everybody, even the worst sinner. Jhn 3:16. It covered me, now that love has been shed abroad in our hearts (liquid love). So, I can genuinely love everyone irrespective of what my previous experience might have been with them. Its a decision. Length--- extent/ limit, how far can it go? Can it be stretched limitlessly in the face of provocation. (Matt 18:21-22). No limits, dont say when it gets to that, Ill withdraw. What should be the elastic limit! No limit. If his love gave up on you, you Wouldnt be here today, Ps 103:12-- distance between east to west is immeasurable. Gods love for you is immeasurable.endless Depth--- its intensity, so intense that while we were enemies he came for us and won us over. No barriers, its so deep. Micah 7:18-19-- its so deep, he delights in showing us mercy. Its his pleasure.he overcame ,conquered, subdued our sins and threw them to the deepest sea, how deep is the sea? Christ love for us is deeper than the sea. The only thing that separated us from the love of God has been cast far deeper than the deepest sea. Same way, you forgive and cast those offenses far off. You take away that barrier of offense that can separate you from your brother, Height--- loftiness, letting your love rise above the weakness of Others. Rm 8:35-Walking in high levels of Gods love, so lofty that nothing in the world can make you condescend to the low levels of hate, backbiting. see the best in others Ps. 108:4 (NLT) his love is high above the heavens. Jesus cross was placed on Golgotha, high above every man, picture of his unfailing love. Gal 5:22-23. How to keep yourself in that height. Eph 5:18-20 Being filled.
