The GONJI Series continues its strange odyssey... Marketed by its original publisher, in the 1980s, as straight historical adventures, a la SHOGUN, the series was scarcely noted in heroic fantasy circles at the time. Yet it became popular among MAINSTREAM readers and remained in print for years! (WTF---?! This has, like...FANTASY stuff in it---monsters and magic and---and---and---whats with the SAMURAI in the 16th-century Carpathians---?!!) But they sold well, created a loyal audience, and found their way back into audio books, foreign releases, and are NOW AVAILABLE in beautiful new print and Kindle editions from Borgo Press. And yes---theyre at last properly packaged as heroic fantasy. As for what the modern fantasy review community is saying, heres a quick sample: networkedblogs/T35wp The books: amazon/Gonji-Blade-East-Deathwind-Trilogy/dp/1434445828/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1407775543&sr=1-1&keywords=gonji+red+blade+from+the+east amazon/Gonji-Within-Steel-Deathwind-Trilogy/dp/1479400459/ref=pd_sim_sbs_b_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1DPB1JAKD2CQVH645DWK amazon/Gonji-Deathwind-Vedun-Triology-Three/dp/1479401021/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1410375497&sr=1-1&keywords=gonji+deathwind amazon/Gonji-Fortress-Worlds-T-C-Rypel/dp/1479402168/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1410375562&sr=1-1&keywords=gonji+fortress amazon/Gonji-Hungering-Wolves-T-C-Rypel/dp/1479402354/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1409770134&sr=1-1&keywords=gonji+a+hungering+of+wolves
