The GOP is going home in August with their new puzzling motto "Fighting Washington for America". They have one primary objective and that is to repeal as many laws as possible while they still have a slight majority in the House of Representatives. They fail to understand that before they can enact any legislation they have to have the cooperation and support of the Senate and the White House. Would someone please sit down with the GOP and explain to them how our government functions? They currently seem to have the wrong idea that they have been given the authority to govern without reference to the Senate or to the White House. It is a perfect example of the tail trying to wag the dog. P.S. they only plan on working 9 days in September. While the nation suffers, the Congress is sipping their mint juleps out on the veranda!
