The GOP lives in a parallel universe: Global warming isnt happening. Tax cuts work. An aspirin between the knees is all the birth control a woman needs. It gets worse. Recently, Georgia Governor Nathan Deal suggested we might be better off if hospitals could run credit checks on women in labor before letting them in the ER. We are about to enter a battle over the federal budget. Will we follow Paul Ryan and the GOP extremists and cut Medicare, close schools and slash food assistance? Fight back. Close corporate loopholes, not your kids school. Its time to make the rich pay their fair share so we can invest in jobs and infrastructure. Most importantly: We will not let Congress cut a single dime of Social Security benefits.
