The Gaithersburg Homebuyer Assistance Loan Program (GHALP) offers up to $20,000 in closing cost and down payment assistance to first-time homebuyers who purchase within the City of Gaithersburg corporate limits. Displaced tenants may use these fund to purchase a home anywhere in Montgomery County, though non-city properties only qualify for up to $15,000. If you kow of someone who can use this Down Payment Assistance Program, please pass this information on to them.
