The Ganta/ Sanniquellie EWL Team was able to meet the needs of 100 women with 100 buckets, 100 2kg cakes of soap, 100 liter of bleach and 2500 cups of rice in Sanniquellie after the Ganta distribution a week ago. This marked the EWL Sanniquellie/Ganta Team Second distribution. According to our registration forms, we automatically covered 811 people from the different 100 homes we affected with disinfectant supplies. We are doing our best, but we still need to do more in Ganta, Sanniquellie and the surrounding villages because they are heavily affected with the EVD and people die almost every day. Besides, I am able to reach those places easily. The bucket brigade project is a God given gift to the people of Liberia during this critical time. When one of my team members, Mother Finda Wallace, called the name of the first beneficiary to receive her 2 kg cake of soap, a bottle of clora (bleach), 25 cups of rice and a bucket that has faucet, she literally burst up into tears. When one of our team members asked her why she was crying, she said this in her native language: “I have been praying for these materials so Ebola cannot kill me. I will do all that you have told me to do. Besides, I did not eat yesterday because I never have the means to provide. My tears are tears of joy, that God can hear prayers. Thank you to all who are behind this blessing. Let God bless you all.”
