The German people were said to have suffered from mass psychosis during the Nazi regime. I am not really talking religion or racism! Here is another perspective on what I am saying. I hear, read, people complaining about the US sending help for the Ebola outbreak. Forget our own self interest, I mean is this the Pandemic we have been trying to advert. I think it would be nice to think we are just doing a good thing, how can it be bad? We waste billions without blinking an eye. They lost twelve pallets of $100 bills, 8 billion dollars in Iraq. Bush brushed it off as irrelevant. A billion dollars is nothing in comparison with all our problems or the problem this could turn into. For police to shoot an unarmed man in broad day light in front of witnesses, or a possibly deranged girl being shot in the head because she is on your doorstep or chasing a boy down and killing him after police dispatchers tell you to leave him alone. To attribute beheading of innocent people to terrorism is to isolate it from all the insane behavior that is happening today. Are they so stupid that they do not realize this will galvanize opposition to their existence. I dont think so. The idea of Govts revoking freedoms to deal with possible contingencies that might arise is not far fetched. The scenarios for coming Martial Law in the US are all over the internet. Martial Law or being shot (or your child) because someone is having a bad day?
