The Girard High School auditorium will be transformed into a tropical rainforest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23. The show, “Live on Stage, the Rainforest,” will fill the auditorium with the sounds and sights of the Amazon region. There will be exotic birds, kinkajous, monkeys and snakes. The show is being presented by Understanding Wildlife Inc., a nonprofit organization that started in 1992 by founder and current Director Mike Kohlrieser and his wife, Marcia. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.
