Pastor Chris is sharing some thoughts with us on HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE If you want to have a good life,take control of your tongue,desist from telling lies,turn away from evil,embrace peace.Your life can be beautiful,it can be exceptional. The bible is Gods instructional manual for a glorious life.Dont say anything evil or hurtful to those around you. Study 1peter:3:8-13 There are Three important things to note.... 1.Quit wanting to be somebody else:Have value for yourself...the first person youve got is you.Be happy about you because God loves you.Your responsibility is to bring the best out of you. Stop trying to be somebody else, God wants you,he needs you and is happy to have you.Stop your ears from the things that distract you,you are Gods best.Believe in whom God created...You.Sow positive seeds with your words,and to do that you need to watch the things you accept into your mind, like the books,movies,songs e.t.cRemember, your life goes in the direction of your words.You are an expression of the seeds you sow into you... 2.Quit trying to change other people: Sometimes we want to love other people because they measure up to our standard,and if they dont,we try to change them.Learn to see people with the eyes of. God. Learn to love people the way they are.You are wonderful the way you are.We share Gods word with people so as to make them more of what God wants them to be. The message of self value is the beginning of transformation from one level or realm of glory to the other. 3.Quit judging other people: If you would only appreciate other people the way they are, you would be amazed at the extent of good in them.Learn to mind your business,stop looking into your neighbors affairs. We should never tell stories that makes other people dislike those we are talking about, our responsibility is to give a good picture of others. Dont be a part of the propagation of hate.When you talk about others, God ignores you. The only reason you know something done by someone else is wrong is because God helped you to know.Without him, you wouldnt be where you are. If you think that way, you will become thankful to God instead of judging others because you wouldnt have known if He hadnt taught you.So give people a chance to be themselves without your attention on everything they do. God bless you as you act on these words. The Month of November; Is a month of In-Gathering Exodus 23:14-16, It begins with 1. Stock taking: Take stock. find how God answered your prayers for the year. In your prayers; the harvest of your prayers, the results of your prayers. This is the time for ingathering. Take stock of the impact that you made. Take stock of your giving; how much did you give. Write down what you give. Find out how God blessed you this year starting from December. Take stock of the financial blessings in your life. Go through it and take stock. Exodus 34:22-24 God is giving me large territories to occupy. Praise and thank Him for it. What ever He says to you do it. Ingathering is different from harvest. Know how God has blessed you, you become grateful and praise Him for it.
