The Gospel of the Lord for Today, Sunday, August 4, 2013 is about a Middle East rich man who worried too much where to stack and secure his large harvest from his vast farm land to ensure that he will have plenty to eat towards the future and will never worry about having no food at all. To solve his anxiety, he dismantled his small granary and built a bigger one that can accommodate and secure all his bountiful harvest and happily rest in peace without knowing that tomorrow he will die. Yes, what will you do with all those wealth stored in secured places inside bank vaults if you yourself cannot use it for long because tomorrow you die? Better stop being extremely foolish and selfish and share your wealth with the humbled, honest, and impoverished poor for you will be building a big rest house in Heaven before you die. Ha ha ha...:) Be wise! Gun for the eternal future of your soul with our creator. Do not be so short-sighted to see only the very temporal happiness of having a very large house, having so many wives, having overflowing wealth, power and fame because all of it will be nothing when you die tomorrow. Ha ha ha...:) So look forward to a happy ending with eternal life in Heaven with the Lord, and throw away a very short-ended life of a greedy man in a greedy world. Amen.
