The Gospel tells us of a woman who said she would be healed when she touched Jesus prayer shawl. When she touched His garment, she was healed. The woman with the issue of blood chose her time to be healed. It was up to her. God didnt care. He wanted her healed immediately. There is not a set time. Jesus ministered to multitudes, and He healed them all. A multitude could have up to thirty thousand people. I guarantee you that ninety percent of all the people needed healing, and since people havent changed, I assume that at least eighteen thousand, if not 27,000 of the multitudes which Jesus ministered to needed healed, and it says, “He healed them all.” He could have sent His disciples out to heal them, but He did it Himself. This is mind boggling, if He healed a multitude over 3 days, then 18,000 people healed, means 6,000 per day, is 250 healed per hour, is 42 healed per minute, is about 2 per 3 seconds. This implies several possibilities, If Jesus healed individually by word, then all He said was, “Be healed,” or the equivalent. Or perhaps Jesus healed in groups, either by family or type of disorder. If so this would have kept the disciples busy organizing the people for healing. Or Jesus could have just walked through them and within His shadow He healed them and stretching out the word, ”Be healed,” as He turned His hands toward them. Perhaps as He started with one-by-one, as He got stirred up, He moved to healing by shadow distance or presence or hand radiation. My numbers above are based on 3 days, if all this was in one day, the thought is indeed awesome. And Jesus said that we would do even greater things than He did. This is unlimited potential in releasing the power of God through us. As Jesus did this as a mere human, no divinity, just a right thinking man of God, just like you our I could be.
