The Government and the corporate community will stay complicit in this online racism. The media outlets are mostly supported and owned, as well as governed, by corporate interests. Complicity here allows general public attitudes toward First Nations people that keeps government policy, designed to quash aboriginal rights and title, unhindered and unopposed largely. Media reports also tend to favour government and corporate positions regarding First Nations. It all comes back to easier and cheaper resource extractions from land that First Nations own and want back rightfully.
