The Government of Himachal Pradesh has today announced a reward of Ten Lacs rupees (Rs. 10.00 Lacs) to any one individual/s giving any reliable information leading to recovery of Idol/s of Raghunath temple. In this regard, the information for the same may be given to the following contact numbers; Superintendent of Police, Distt. Kullu, H.P. +91-94184-84949 , +91-01902-224700 A theft incident was reported in Raghunath Temple, Kullu (Sultanpur) early on 09-12-2014 morning. For this incident, a case FIR No. 378/14 dated 09-12-2014 u/s 457, 380 IPC has been registered in PS Kullu. (on the statement of Sh. Danvender Singh S/O Sh. Maheshwar Singh R/O Rupi palace Sultanpur, Distt. Kullu). In the statement, it was reported that on the intervening night of 08/09-12-2014, some unknown culprits had entered the Ragunath Mandir, Sultanpur from roof of temple and following articles are reported stolen from the temple:- Ragunath Idol of ashtdhatu, a gold Locket, ashtdhatu Hanuman Idol alongwith golden Chain, One Stone Narsingh Shila (covered with gold), one silver Shri Ganesh idol, one pair of Charan Paduka, one silver aachmani, one silver Shankh Stand and some other pooja silver items. Total Gold=1 Kgs and Silver=about 10 Kgs (approx. value Rs. 32 Lacs)
