The Government of India is launching Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG (DBTL) Scheme from 1st Jan 2014 for all consumers attached to distributors in Mumbai including Mumbai Suburbs and Mumbai City and Raigarh Districts. Please note down the following points of the new Scheme very carefully. 1) Effective 1st Jan 2014, domestic LPG cylinders will be sold at the market price 2) You will get cash subsidy in advance to buy your market priced LPG cylinder directly in your Aadhar linked Bank account as per your entitlement. 3) Consumers who are unable to complete formalities by 1st Jan 2014 will receive subsidised LPG cylinders as they are getting today till 31st March 2014. 4) After 31st March 2014 all consumers will have to pay market price for LPG cylinder and subsidy will only be available to those who have completed the above formalities. To enrol for the DBTL scheme one needs to do the following 1) Obtain Aadhar Number in case you still don’t have one. 2) Link your aadhar Number to your existing bank account using Form 1 (as enclosed in the email). Please take a printout and fill in the details to be submitted with your bank. Please visit petroleum.nic.in/dbtl/bank.pdf to know the list of banks with whom your Aadhar Card can be linked. Have also enclosed a PDF file for your easy reference. 3) Link your Aadhar Number with LPG Consumer Number in any one of the following five ways. a) By Hand : Fill in the details in Form-2 (as enclosed), give it to your LPG Distributor along with the enclosures as mentioned Form 2. b) Call Centre : Call 1800-2333-555 and register your Aadhar Number. c) Web : Go to website uidai.gov.in and Press the Start Now button and follow the seeding procedure mentioned on the website. d) IVRS : Cal our company’s number given below and follow IVR instructions i) IOC (Indane Gas) : 09669 124365 ii) HPC (HP Gas) : 8888 23456 iii) BPC (Bharat Gas): 94204 56789 e) SMS : you have to follow two steps i) Register your Mobile Number HPC / IOC Customers : - Send SMS: REG distributor telephone number with STD code without zero consumer number (e.g. REG 1187654321 564321) BPC Customers : Register your mobile number with your distributor ii) Send SMS for Aadhar Submission – UID Aadhaar Number (E.g. UID 343434343434) SMS have to be sent to : For Indane Gas : 09669 124365 For HP gas : 88888 23456 For Bharat Gas : 57333 or 52575
