The Governor of the State of Osun; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has approved the declaration of public holiday in the State for the full participation of the people in the exercise of Voters’ Card and collections. This was made known in a release by the State Bureau of Communication and Strategy this morning. “This is to inform members of the public that tomorrow, Friday March 7, 2014 has been declared a public holiday. The purpose of the one work-free day is to allow our people to participate in the voters register verification and permanent voters card collection exercise starting on Friday. The people are hereby enjoined to take maximum advantage of the holiday to participate in the exercise” the statement said.
