The Grand Fountain in Paisleys Fountain Gardens takes shape today. I was watching this from my window this afternoon, and by 9pm it was just getting too murky for the very last level top be put into place, so this should be in place tomorrow. Up close the detail is fantastic, and it does make you wonder who permitted this to have bog standard layers of paint slapped over the original paintwork for generations.
