The Greater Pell City Chamber of Commerce and Team Magic, Inc. are bringing the Toughman Alabama Triathlon to Lakeside Park. The event will take place on August 16, 2014 and will consist of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and a 13.1 mile run. A 5K will take place in the Park while the tri- athletes are in the bike portion of the event.For the 1st Annual TOUGHMAN Alabama Triathlon & 5k, we are expecting an estimated 750 participants and over 2000 spectators. TOUGHMAN is a race series throughout the United States with races similar to ours being held in Indiana, Arizona, Washington and a Championship Race in New York on the Hudson River. “We are excited to finally bring in a race that takes advantage of our beautiful Logan Martin Lake and look forward to the positive impact it will have on our city.”- Erica Grieve, Executive Director Sponsorship Opportunities are available.
