The Guam Solid Waste Authority (GSWA) has announced its Typhoon Vongfong collection schedule for Trash and Recycling Collections as well as Residential Transfer Stations: Residential Transfer Stations in Dededo, Agat, and Malojlojs will be open on Tuesday, October 7th (a day it is normally closed) to provide service to its customers who may need to clean up after Typhoon Vongfong. After Tuesday, the Residential Transfer Stations will resume its normal operating days of Thursday through Monday. All Trash and Recycling Collections from GSWA customers will be one day removed: Mondays routes will be collected on Tuesday, Tuesdays routes on Wednesday, Wednesday routes on Thursday, and Thursdays routes on Friday. Please remember that recycling will be collected the same day as trash. This week, customers who are schedule to set out their recycling on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday will be collected during this week.
