The HA HA BIRDS have been rather quiet this last bit, not for - TopicsExpress

The HA HA BIRDS have been rather quiet this last bit, not for nothing to comment, but rather for too much to comment. Before going public things have to verified, or to ask questions becomes pointless. Just to complicate life, beside the usual poachers response to stop poaching, this morning we have even arrested some policemen on the Thika road with ivory. We are sure that the ivory was planted in their car by some revengeful conservancy in retaliation of similar action in their part. Karibu to a Kenya we would like to eliminate! However having been distracted let us return to this post. It is about the Siana area, and the report from Elephant Aware Maasai Mara reporting the finding of a poached elephant carcass. A carcass that has been around for some time. It is also known that in this area other carcasses have been found, and it is thought that others will be located. The Ha Ha Birds would like to ask that question that begs the question ... or is it the answers. How is it that despite the discovery of carcasses, no other forensic evidence is ever mentioned ... from snares to casings to other tracks relating to poachers. It seem obvious that patrolling has its limitations and that only that smell of flesh rot is a clue to where a carcass is. One wonders ... now ... as we wondered at the time ... on how sad it is that a certain Marcel was stopped from flying. Flying regular patrol grids would not only discourage poaching but also account for accounting for deaths, from any cause, of wildlife. One wonders why, despite these going on in Siana ... nothing meaningful for prevention seems to be moving on the ground. The HA HA BIRDS at this point would like to point out to one and all, and to the Prsedent of Kenya, that there exists a fleet of helicopters, like only African politicians can justify to attend prayer meetings, funerals and rallies, and other very essential duties (roads are unsafe ... and so is the Ngong Forest) that really sit there .... I guess it would be mind boggling and beyond the political scope to have these politicians volunteer them for patrolling areas at risk and of proven poaching. Just think ... poachers would have to operate only on days of religious functions, political rallies or funerals of dear political friends. Will have to talk to Vice President Ruto on this he knows how to deal with leased aircrafts. However! Returning to Elephant Aware Mara Mara, without discrediting their carcass reports and their action on the ground ... we would like to hear more info. Locations, patterns, prevention ... numbers. It is obvious that since that yellow plane was stopped from flying, poachers and those of that faith, have been great facilitated. In the meantime THE HA HA BIRDS urges one and all to storm all the politicians with helicopters with tweets like #donate helicopter time to stop poaching ... after all we are paying for their fixed wing limousines ....
