The “HIGH DEFINITION BLESSING’ series continued yesterday with a message titled, “Your Seed and Your Vision” and it was an insightful time in God’s presence! Pastor Tunde Usidame took us on an adventure in the Word of God, examining the connection between the visions of blessing God promised to Abraham and the seeds of obedience and sacrifice that Abraham sowed. God promised in His Word (Genesis 8:22) that as long as the earth remains, there will ALWAYS be seed-time (a time to sow) and harvest (a time to reap). Seed time will lead to harvest as a guaranteed spiritual law. But the nature of the harvest is dependent on the quality and nature of seeds that are sown. A seed is anything which has the capacity to produce a result based on its nature. For example, we cannot sow orange seeds and reap mango fruits in the natural realm; in the spiritual realm, the principle is the same. From Galatians 6:7-9 we learn that we can sow seeds in the field of our natural, earthly desires and we can sow seeds in the field of the spiritual realm. From the former, we will reap a harvest of ‘death’- not just physical death, but unfruitfulness, frustration and defeat. From the latter, we will reap the harvest of eternal life. This shows us that seeds and harvest are not always tangible things.
