The Harambee Stars problem lies with Nandwa. Sunday, Kenya took - TopicsExpress

The Harambee Stars problem lies with Nandwa. Sunday, Kenya took on Lesotho and I told my friend that provided Adel Amrouche is out, we will lose by a predictable score of 1-0 and well I was right. How did I know? Simple really, if you look carefully at the past and if you have followed matches played by Harambee Stars, you will notice that slowly by slowly James Nandwa is destroying The Stars. When Amrouche first took over, we took a shock lead against Nigeria only to get a rude response in the dying minutes. If you ask yourself how this happened, well as soon as Amrouche was sent off, Nigeria took advantage and scored. Looking closely at the game you will see that Amrouche wanted to bring on a defender only for Nandwa to take over and have a change of plans by introducing a midfielder. This was clearly the decision which ended up leading to Nigerias equalizer. Then there was the return leg which saw Amrouche on the sidelines due to his ban. Despite our fantastic performance, we were all in for a rude shock back at home as Nandwa was set to take over. Looking at the formation used in the return leg we will find that it was the exact same one Nandwa used in the Cecafa cup (4-5-1) and completely different from that of the one Amrouche deployed against Nigeria which was 4-4-2. That wasnt the only shocker but the fact that there were some local players played out of position with the likes of Peter Opiyo playing on the wing! Thirdly we come down to the game against Malawi where we shocked Malawi to a 2-2 draw with no friendly, no big stars like Oliech, Wanyama, Origi, Timbe and others. Why is this because our very own special one Adel Amrouche was in charge with a new attacking formation (4-3-3) a formation local coaches are afraid to use away from home. This finally leaves me to say that Amrouche is very unfortunate as he always seems to be absent whenever we need him most. Furthermore I think something is wrong behind the team as I just cant understand why Amrouche doesnt send notes or tell Nandwa the game plan before they take on any opposition. If something is not done we face a lot of trouble starting with AFCON failure without even progressing to the qualifying group stage. Last time we lost to Burundi away under Nandwa and were held against 10 man at home when Nandwa was in charge! Therefore I fear a worse prediction as I see Kenya winning 2-1 but losing on aggregate worse still we could be held, because when you think about it, Nandwa has never won a match at home with the senior national team! I hate to point at local coaches but the way things are going we are in big trouble. Oh may God help us!
