This story is set in an old Maine mill town in the western mountain region and tells the sad story of old man McCormick, and how he died in his closed grocery store after the shuttered sawmill sank the local economy into an irredeemable state. No one could afford to buy groceries, and so he closed his store after thirty years of operation. The old man died in the back room of the now empty store, and the store was subsequently leased to a string of tenants. But Abe McCormack never really left the store. Follow along as we share the tragic tale of the old A&P.
