The Healing House is also looking for a Business Management Intern to manage the daily business operations of our creative non-profit association. The Business Management Intern is someone who is well-organized, self-motivated and loves working as part of a team in a conscious holistic environment. The ideal candidate is great at accounting, record keeping and database management, has experience in hospitality management, and can assist us in outreach, fundraising and publicity. This person not only fits this skill set and loves these types of tasks, but also shares our mission to awaken consciousness through holistic, creative living. This position will also serve as a House Manager; overseeing day-to-day community operations. This person has experience in marketing and advertising/sales, hospitality, managing people/volunteers, and event coordination. The Healing House Manager is the face of our project, and is responsible for generating a community spirit, creating a beautiful energetic atmosphere, as well as communicating the mission and guidelines of the house to visitors and residents. Requirements: Speaks Spanish and English Experience managing people Experience with flyer-design software is a big plus. Job: Manages Volunteer Staff Room bookings onsite and online, manages email and facebook accounts. Guest and public relations Event coordination and scheduling Marketing and outreach Time commitment: 30-35 hours per week, 6 month minimum with a two week trail period.
