The Helper From Above Our God is more powerful than the demons of this world. When we invite Him into our heart, He comes and never leaves us alone. Seeing Him, no demon can come near you. Let not your heart be troubled. I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. (John 14:16) Jesus looked at His disciples and said, My children, I am going to leave you. I have been with you for three and a half years and have comforted you. But I am going to give you Someone who is just like me. He is the Helper. He will be with you forever. He will dwell in you. The Helper, Gods Holy Spirit will comfort us in times of grief and sorrow. He will speak to us in our hearts depth and enrich us. Who is this Holy Spirit? Now the Lord is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:17) What a joy that the Lord Himself should come and dwell in our heart! John 14:20 elaborates this experience: I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. When we pray, we experience the thrill as if Christ Jesus is standing right in front of us. We experience the joy of dwelling in Him and He surrounds us. We do not sense the feeling of loneliness after that. When my children Paul and Angel were young, my wife and I used to go out of station often to conduct prayer meetings. Then they will begin to cry saying, Are you leaving us and going away? But when we tell them, We will leave you at your Auntys place, they will shout for joy, Oh! To Auntys place? We will be there. Do you know why? Their Aunty used to buy them whatever they wanted and pamper them so much. They take care of them very well. We too have such a Caretaker. He is the Holy Spirit. He is loving. He is with us day and night. He comforts us. He is with us till the day we die. When He is with us, we experience the joy of having Jesus with us all the time. Lord Jesus appeared to me on October 10, 1962. I had been praying consistently for such a revelation for seven years. That is why He came down to me that day. For three hours He spoke to me. Ecstasy overwhelmed my soul. I just cannot express it in words! Jesus then said to me, My son, I had been waiting for you for twenty seven years. So saying, the Lord came near me. I felt a door open in my soul. And the Lord entered into my soul. From that day forward, I have Him in me, and because of this, my life and ministry underwent a change. I feel for the sick. When I speak and pray in public meetings, I do so with much burden. When I deliver the message over the radio or television, I pray with tears. The reason is that the Holy Spirit is in me, filling me with the love and compassion of Christ. His compassion makes me to cry out that way. When I pray, His face comes before me. He affirms His presence in me. When i kneel down to pray, I spend many hours on my knees, and pray with tears in His awesome presence. He will tell me everyday as to what I should do. At that time a divine peace fills me. My dear friend, you need the Holy Spirit in your life. Pray for this privilege and seek the Holy Spirit earnestly. He will come into you and remain with you. He will comfort and care for you, and fill you with His divine peace. See what the Bible says about the Holy Spirit: Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, Like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, Like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, Who will bring them down to the earth with His hand (Isaiah 28:2). Yes He is strong and mighty. And if He comes into you, you will be strengthened beyond measure. The Bible says, The righteous are bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1). What is the reason behind this? When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). When the Holy Spirit is in you, you will not be afraid of satan though he may come to you in any form. Even if he is to come charging at you, once he sees the Holy Spirit in you, He will flee. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) No demon shall come near you. Jesus has said, The ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me (John 14:30). And He has given authority to us who believe in His name. In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues. (Mark 16:17) Therefore, my dear freind, do not be afraid. He is more powerful than the demon of this world. When He comes into you, He will never leave you alone. Let not your heart be troubled. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, I cannot be alone in this world. I too need the Holy Spirit. When you were in this world, You said, I will give you another Helper. I will not leave you as orphans. Send that Holy Spirit into me today. Lord, strengthen me and fill me with power. Help me to resist the devil in Your name, with Your presence in me. Lord, make my life useful to myself and to others, and to You.
