The Hillsborough High School Marching Band received a proclamation at Tuesdays Township Committee meeting honoring their successful season. They competed in the US Bands Northeast Regional Competition on November 1st, 2014 in Annapolis, Maryland, at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium against 30 bands. With a score of 95.125, the band captured 1st Place in Group V Open Preliminary Competition along with the Caption Awards for Best Music with their show entitled Hide and Seek and finished 3rd Place overall in the Finals.
