The Holliston Police Department and Holliston Fire Department were very busy during the first measurable snow storm of the season. Shortly before noon, public safety personnel responded to a 3 car crash on Washington Street, which included one vehicle on its side, with the occupant reportedly entrapped. Chief Cassidy, Deputy Moore, Rescue 1, Engine 4, the primary and backup ambulances and Events EMS Ambulance Service responded. Traffic on Route 16 was shut down while personnel operated at the scene. One patient was transported ALS to Milford Regional Medical Center. Two patients were transported BLS to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. One individual denied injury and signed a waiver. While crews were still on scene on Washington Street, there was a report of a car off the road on Adams Street. Chief Cassidy, Deputy Moore, Engine 4 and the primary ambulance responded. One patient was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. Later in the afternoon, the primary ambulance responded to a 2 car crash on Highland Street near the Medway line, and transported one patient to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. Prior to the end of the day shift, Chief Cassidy and the primary ambulance also responded to a 1 car crash on Highland Street near the Ashland line, and transported one patient to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. This list and pictures do not include other calls to which the police responded where there were no injuries reported, and an ambulance was not requested.
