The Honda should be all repaired and good to go by Sunday, Im very happy that this isnt going to cost a fortune! Ive been hunting down the parts that will need replacing and looking for the best prices for the ignition switch with the lock cylinder. I was a parts counterman for NAPA auto parts about 20 years ago, so I know how to shop for parts and find the best deals. But I learned a new one today... Pep Boys will price match and lower the price %5 on all parts with a price quote from competitors, which I have from my price quote hunting today. The local Pep Boys has all the parts in stock and the manager wants my business. That is a seriously great deal in the ignition switch assembly which had a price that ranged from $395 and $109.99. I definitely cant pass that one up. I also stopped at the Honda Dealership and found out that the stolen back seat was in all Honda Civic models from 1992 through 1994, so it should be fairly easy to find the back seat at the salvage yards like Ecology Auto Salvage. Yay! I have an appointment with my mechanic on Sunday morning to finish off the brake job and I found all the brake parts at the local Pep Boys with the price matching minus the %5. Awesome!!! :)
