The House continues to pursue the investigation of the IRS abuse of power. Today, the House took two significant steps: 1. The House voted to hold IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress for her refusal to testify about the IRS abuses. 2. The House called Attorney General Holder to appoint an independent Special Counsel to further investigate these crimes without political bias.
