The House of Representatives (Republican controlled) today passed several bills that would have gone ahead and funded Washington DC, the National Institute of Health, the National Guard, the National Park Service. President Obama said he would veto them all.... so the Senate (Democatic controlled) would not consider them. The House was trying to find anything that everyone could agree upon to lessen the affect of the government shutdown. Dems: "no help, no compromise, fund it all or forget it, my way or the highay. NO, NO, NO.....and oh, by the way, this is all your fault."
