The House of Representatives is fighting to defund Obamacare. Never was there a "Law" that a majority of American disagreed with more. Never was there a "Law" so dangerous to our health, happiness, individual sovereignty, rights, and Constitution. Never was there a "Law" that hurt both individual workers and Union workers. Government subsidies, mandates, and Big Business protectionist policies have never improved the cost or the services of any product. Did more money and centralized regulation bring down the cost of public and college education? Does the Postal Service operate more efficiently than FedEx or UPS? Did a Federal government push for banks to lower their standards on who they loan money to not cause the Great Recession? Is Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare financial solvent? The 4th Amendment protects your privacy and property...your body and health are yours alone and do not belong to anyone else or the Federal government. The Obamacare mandate "tax" is unconstitutional, because the Federal government may only collect a tax for revenue purposes to "to pay the Debts and provide for the common defence and general Welfare." Individuals have a right to invent social combinations, to advertise them, to advocate them, and to try them upon themselves, at their own expense and risk. But they do not have a right to impose these plans upon the people by law – by force – and to compel the people to pay for them with the people’s taxes.
