The Humane Society of Jackson County is Hosting Special Spay/Neuter Clinics for Low-Income Pet Owners. Thanks to generous funding from the Kenneth A. Scott Charitable Trust, the Humane Society of Jackson County will be having special spay/neuter clinics during August and September. These clinics are for pet owners that meet income guidelines listed below and live in Jackson County Ohio. Poverty Guideline 2014 150% Family of one $17, 235 Family of two $23, 265 Family of three $29, 295 Family of four $35, 325 Family of five $41, 355 Family of six $47, 385 Family of seven $53, 415 Family of eight $59, 445 Interested individuals must mail a copy of proof of annual income with name, address, a current contact phone number, and a $15.00 fee per pet (Money Order Only) to the Humane Society of Jackson County, P.O. Box 1, Jackson, Ohio, 45640. This $15.00 fee per pet and proper proof of income must be received by Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in order to be scheduled for an upcoming clinic. Clinic spaces are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis. You will be contacted by phone to be scheduled once your info and payment is received.
