This precious boy was brought in with his best friend, Toby, and they have now found themselves both on the urgent list and in need of help ASAP. The shelter writes: "Danny" is an adorable 4-year old male Beagle/Hound mix who was surrendered by his owner on February 5, 2013 along with his best friend (Toby) with whom he shared his previous home. This little sweetheart has a sleek fawn-colored coat with white highlights on his chest, white paws, and a kind Hound face with long velvety ears. "Danny" has the wonderful personality of both the Beagle- and Hound breeds and which make them such desirable family companions and pets. He has previously been kept indoors and is housebroken. "Danny" weighs ~40 lbs. and is already neutered. He and his best friend "Toby" are sharing a large kennel to make the transition to shelter life a little easier for them. We hope that someone might open up their heart and home and adopt these boys together Please note that neither "Danny" nor "Toby" do well with small children, and we would not recommend a home with children younger than 8-10 years old. "
