The Immanuel Sheefeni HIV Positively Living MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION for people living with HIV and AIDS is moving smoothly with more member signing up daily. The idea is to band HIV carriers together in an effort to increase awareness about the virus and to address stigma and discrimination and to educate ourselves and our communities on HIV prevention, care and treatment. I know it takes great courage to openly declare ones HIV-positive status but I am calling on anyone (women and men) who wish to come out to do so in order to strive for social change, create networks of support, produce educational materials, and advocating for the repeal of punitive laws together.
