The Incredible Faith of Noah Genesis 6:22 “Noah did everything God told Him to do” Genesis 6:22 (The Easy English Clear Word). I don’t often ponder Noah’s commitment to God, but when I think about it, Noah really went way out on a limb; I mean, look at it from his contemporaries’ perspective: The world was absolutely beautiful, every day was filled with sunshine, rain didn’t even exist; and here’s some guy who’s saying that water is going to come from the sky and completely cover the earth. (Yea! Not likely!) And not only did Noah preach this outrageously absurd message year after year after year—for 120 years!—but he believed it! In fact, his belief was so great that he built a boat—a really big boat—to the exact specifications God asked. He even went so far as to prepare this boat with stalls for animals— enough stalls to hold two of every kind of animal on the planet. And all this on the word of a God Who no one listened to anymore (if He even existed at all). It took more faith than most of us will ever know for Noah to do these outrageous things that God asked him to do, but The Bible says: “Noah did everything God told Him to do.” Oh, that I would follow God like Noah did. Oh, that I would have just a portion of his faith. My prayer is that you will have the faith of Noah so that you will be prepared and await the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are yet to reconcile with God, do so now cause this generation will experience the worse tribulation that the generation of Noah did. Of what profit shall it be to you to refuse to reconcile with God and regret later? I plead with you to please give your life to Christ. Shalom
