“The Innkeepers’ Christmas” Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2pm at the Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon The Lutheran churches of Skagit Valley present Seattle’s Taproot Theatre’s The Innkeeper’s Christmas - a theatre experience to brighten the spirit. As innkeepers Jacob and Miriam buzz around accommodating strange requests and stranger guests with their trademark humor and wit, a desperate plea to use their stable makes them pause: if this is the advent of God’s Child, what kind of family is He creating? The Innkeepers’ Christmas reframes the first Christmas, drawing laughter and insight from the unexpected ways God alters expectations. Tickets are $20, available at the Lincoln Theatre or online at lincolntheatre.org All proceeds will benefit Skagit Valley youth attending the ELCA National Youth Gathering in 2015.
