The International Manufacturing and Technology Show in Chicago was mind numbing in its scale and diversity. I learned so much in the 3 days I was able to peel off my schedule. 110,000 people registered for the event. I shot a little video of a machining center by DMG MORIs Metal Deposition head for its Hybrid LASERTEC 65 machine in action. This machine melts powdered metal in place and machines it smooth in the same setup.
