The Islamic University in Gaza is one of my favorite places in Gaza, and I count dozens of IUG students as my friends It is place of great elegance - its students are passionate about learning. Last night the Israeli military attacked the University and destroyed its administration building. The act was senseless. It was strictly an act of collective punishment. Israel is out to destroy the soul of this people and place. BUT THEY WILL NOT SUCCEED. I am sad. I am angry. And I swear to my Palestinian brothers and sisters that Israel will pay dearly for the horrific attack on your people and your culture. This cruel country is doomed to be forgotten by history of what is good in mankind. They have become savages. #ICC4Israel
