The Israelites didnt enter their promised land because of their enemies. They didnt enter it because of their own doubt and unbelief. Sometimes the biggest obstacle that stands in our way that we need to overcome is our ownself. Everyone struggles at times with doubt & unbelief. There is not a saint that falls short of that, not one. I dont care how seasoned or spiritual you are. But the key is to recognize it so God can work with you on it. Its easy to blame the enemy or even other people for everything because it keeps you from having to look at yourself. But our check-base starts with us. Whether your doubt and unbelief stems from a deeper root issue from past pain of abandonment & rejection that causes you to mistrust or it be something altogether different, let God deal with you on it. But dont walk around in a wilderness mentality. If your car was broken down you would get it fixed. Well, if your faith is broken down and shipwrecked, would you not have it fixed? You are meant for greatness for a Great God. Let Nothing stand in your way, not even yourself. And dont let spiritual pride keep you from reaching out for help. If God wanted you to wear a mask, He would have put one on you. He wants to birth forth the real you. Not a fake you. Beware of spiritual pride when in need of help. It has been a silent assassin to many precious saints and has kept them from walking in the greatness that God desires for them. Pride no matter what form it comes in, will always keep you tripping.
