The JCPenney Portraits photo Groupon states that there is no - TopicsExpress

The JCPenney Portraits photo Groupon states that there is no sitting fee, a 3 image cd, and 2 traditional sheets of any pose. It also states that there is 30% off any additional purchase. I told them about my Groupon and got my 3 pictures. The woman only photographed 3 poses, total. Very rushed and she was not very good- she missed all my babys smiles. The info under the Groupon deal states that they have a wide selection of backgrounds but I did not find that to be the case, there were very few. They did not show me or suggest any props, toys, etc. However, there was a training session going on at the same time where they were training several people for photographs- and they were using a lot of props, poses, etc. on employees to demonstrate in the other photo booth. After the shoot, I had the 3 images and she ran through them super fast putting them into several different image frames, collages (of 3) etc. She told me that the CD with all of the images was $50. I asked her several times during the photo viewing The full cd is an additional $50? She said yes. I asked for the prints to be in Sepia. She told me that those were not traditional so I did ask to buy 2 Sepia sheets separate from the 2 included in the deal. I then said I would buy the CD, assuming that it would be $35 with the 30% discount (though I had a nagging feeling I was being ripped off). She initially added it to the order and it showed up as $150. There was some difficulty adding things to the order so the woman got help from a 2nd woman. The 2nd woman showed that the CD was run as $50 plus my other sheets. They worked it out where they had to do two separate orders and the store got very busy, my baby was crying and I was asking questions but was very rushed. I left and realized that the $50 cd did not have 30% off. I went back in and asked the 2nd woman. At first she told me that the 30% off only applied to portraits. I showed her the Groupon that stated additional purchases, not portraits. She then said the CD is normally $150 but that it was on sale for $50- the first woman did not tell me that. So the 2nd woman said that was a better deal than 30% off. I decided that was too much, and I did get a refund on the CD,. I only paid for the 2 extra sheets in Sepia, which were 30% off. I just felt rushed, the pricing seemed shady- the first woman did not tell me that $50 was a sale price. When I went online at home, there was a $50 sale price for a Full Sitting image CD. When I called JCPenney Portraits to ask how many pictures constituted a Full Sitting, I was told anywhere from 12 to 18 pictures. I had 3.
