The Jammu and Kashmir police claimed to have arrested a person with grenade in poll bound Kulgam district Monday evening. “In a joint operation, Kulgam police along with 9-RR and 18Bn CRPF apprehended one person Bilal Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad resident Rampora Qoimoh. Upon his search one hand grenade was recovered from him,” an official statement said. “Police Kulgam has registered a case FIR No. 75/2014 under section 7/25 A Act and investigation has been taken up,” they said.
