The Jaroso Fire update. This really sucks, for lack of a better word! Size 1,500 acres Fuels Involved Mixed conifer, heavy dead and down fuels with pockets of bug-killed trees and 1,300 acres of downed timber caused by a wind event six years ago. Estimating roughly at 1500 acres and more a accurate acreage will be available tomorrow after the evenings infrared mapping flight.
