The Jeannette Rankin Peace Center and the English Language Institute of the University of Montana welcome the public to participate in the second annual Intercultural Dialogue Series to begin Thursday, May 29! Visiting Humphrey Fellows from various countries around the globe-- Myanmar, Mexico, China, Central African Republic, Djibouti, Haiti, Pakistan, Argentina, Armenia, Togo and Costa Rica will share their perspectives on issues such as politics, educational administration and planning, environment, and criminal justice. On May 29, Speakers Meng Han, a photojournalist from China and Rosario Carmona, a journalist from Mexico will address issues surrounding media, politics, and freedom of information in their respective countries. Following will be events on June 19, July 17, and July 31, all from 5-7 pm. Talks will be held in the JRPC Conference room at 519 S. Higgins Ave.
