The Jonathanians are on RAMPAGE. Everyone of them, I mean, all of them had something utterly despicable to spew regarding Buharis presidential declaration yesterday. They were all seething with rage, especially on seeing the mammoth crowd that was pleasantly different from TANs rented crowd. I think theJonathanians have become the new opposition. In the next few weeks, there will be lots of crappy posts about aging folks, reminders of our military past, change of guard from old to the new, and a very tired focus on the 80s and 90s. Please, I beg you, dont tag me on those posts. I have read enough history books about military rule. Yes, I am a fan of Buharis renewed presidential ambition. But, if a 40 year old emerges as presidential candidate today, the same people will accuse him/her of inexperience. How many people are crazy about Sola Kutis candidacy? Even among his Jonathanian friends? How many truly support him? In truth and in deed? Aint he young? Buhari was military head of state when militocracy was commonplace in the continent just as Emperor Constantius II was the great emperor of Rome in the days of the Roman Emperor. Times have changed. Perhaps, you need to change your mindset too. Jonathan just has to go! If you really wish this country well, and want to see it move away from the institutionaliz ation of mediocrity and the legitimization of corruption in governance, you must support EVERY effort to take Jona back to Otuoke. Stop beefing. Love Nigeria!
