The Journalism fraternity was today united in grief as we laid to rest our fallen friend and brother Tony Kago in his farm in Ngong. Kago was a man of the people and my former colleague at NMG. It was good to see the gesture of friendship extended to the family by Kenyan journalists and the management and staff of Oglivy where Tony worked before his death in the hands of armed robbers last Saturday. Today was a rare show of unity among media people brought together in grief. Thanks to Linus Kaikai, Denis Chebitwei, Washington Akumu, Tom Osanjo, Solom Solomon Kyenze, Francis Mureithi and all who made it to Ngong. RIP Tony and may God comfort the loved ones you have left behind.
