The KCPS Instructional Technology department held its Annual Digital Citizenship Awards Night ceremony on Wednesday, April 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Manual Career Technical Center. Attendees went home with copies of a digital citizenship calender created by second graders and the digital citizenship newsletter, which consists of articles written by fifth and seventh grade students that “warn you, show you, and inform you about the hazards and risks of using the Internet. This year’s students amazed the department in their innovation and creativity as they represented the various areas of Digital Citizenship. The department received over 110 public service announcement entries this year.
