The Karaite Association in Israel promoting renewal and upgrading of the heritage center Karaite Judaism in the Old City of Jerusalem, the cost of the project is over 500 thousand ILS (equal to 130 thousand dollars). The Association submitted a support request the Legacies Committee which approved the support the project in total of up to 250 thousand ILS (equal to 65 thousand dollars), on every dollar that the community will raise from contribution. Our funding goal right now is 250 thousand ISL (equal to 65 thousand dollars). In recent months the Association management, reviewed several companies planning museums and heritage centers and selected company named TUCAN for the renewal and upgrading. The process of renewal and upgrading consists of three main stages: 1. Treasures 2. Planning 3. Construction We are currently now at the treasures stage. What Is a Treasure? This phase of treasures including collecting objects, their selection and arrangement space of issues that will deal with the exhibition. Treasure decides how to place art in the museum the how to view issue in the best and most appropriate. In its decision on how to mount the display and parameters are taken into account, such as historical connections, place, lighting, background and so on. In cases where it decides it is necessary, choose framing true treasure and will add a caption and background music. The importance of Treasure is due to his knowledge and his ability to express a widespread one central idea. As the subject focused and narrow around one axis, so will exhibit more weight.
