The Kennedys are just leaving Hobby Airport, heading down Broadway. My house was to the left by those trees. My Aunt Polly lived in the same neighborhood and that church steeple I think is her church and is still there. I cannot believe I did not go over there. It was walking distance. I regret it to this day. Aunt Polly and her family all went. I worked at that airport and then later at the newer and much larger Intercontintal airport on the North side of own. President Kennedy was not defined back then by party. I never thought about that. He was just well loved by most. And his wife was the most popular and stylish First Lady ever. Once in a while special, charismatic people come along. These two were that. Pictures not in order.
