The Key Biscayne wrecked in 1983 while under tow to Fremantle from the Arafura sea on the North Coast of Australia. The 2695 ton jack up oil rig sunk and settled upside down in 40 metres of water, with the shallowest part of the wreck starting at 26 metres. A great site to see large demersal scalefish and Grey Nurse sharks hanging around the legs at the northern section of the wreck. The site lays 9 nautical miles offshore from the town of Ledge Point. Most easily accessed by beach launching at Lancelin. A short video recorded earlier this year, diving with the crew at Diving Frontiers in Balcatta. https://youtube/watch?v=-DTZYLSDzXQ&index=3&list=UUmODJnOi2vepDanb8upHgzA
