The Kingdom of God & How it works Today Who among us is spiritually minded, having a discerning heart? 1Cor 2:14; 3:12,14 If you have ever wondered about the Kingdom of God, and how it works in the Christian today, here in as few words as possible is how it is. Matt 6:33 But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with outward observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. 1. Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is not seen outwardly with natural appearance of the physical eye. It is not a physical Kingdom, but a spiritual Kingdom. 2. God is a Spirit. John 4:24. 3. Since God is a Spirit, then the Holy Spirit or Spirit of Christ has whatever God has, God’s Kingdom. John 3:5. 4. The Kingdom of God is God’s Kingdom, therefore is also Spirit. Romans 14:17. 5. Jesus Christ, King of the Kingdom of God rules His spiritual Kingdom from the throne of God in Heaven. Acts 2:32-36; Ephesians 1:20-23; Hebrews 1:1-4,8; 8:1-2; 1Peter 3:21-22. 6. The Kingdom of God is encapsulated in the Spirit of God. 1Corinthians 2:10-14. 7. We who are born of the Spirit are spirit. John 3:6. 8. We who are born of the Spirit also have the Spirit of God or Holy Spirit within/inside us/our body, which has become the physical temple of God on earth. Romans 8:9-11. 9. We who are born of God’s Spirit have what God has because it resides in the Spirit. It is called being translated into the Kingdom of God, heirs of the Kingdom, heirs of promise, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Romans 8:17; 1Corinthians 3:21-22; Colossians 1:12-13; Hebrews 6:17; James 2:5. 10. Therefore, since the Spirit of God/Christ resides within/inside of our body/temple, the Spirit Kingdom of God, by necessity, also resides within us. 1Corinthians 3:16. 11. The Word of God states, out of the abundance of our heart proceed the issues of our life. Proverbs 4:23; Luke 6:45. 12. We access the inward Spirit Kingdom of God into our lives through faith in the exceedingly great an precious promises which we both hide within our heart, then speak with out of our mouth. Romans 10: 6-10; 2Peter 1:4. 13. This is how it worked for Jesus and how it works for us who will work it. Matthew 8:8,16; Luke 7:7. 14. The physical Kingdom of God on earth will not be manifest until Jesus returns to Israel with all the saints. Zechariah 14:2-11; Revelation 19:8,11-16.
